After the DVD release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, here comes another movie hit that is in major production right now. This third part of The Chronicles of Narnia is scheduled for release on May 7, 2010. There are concept artworks being released online where viewers can really see the actual part of the story which originated from their favorite book series.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is written by Steven Knight and directed by Michael Apted. Starring Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell and Will Poulter. Just for some teaser of this film, Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace. There, they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship which is known as “The Dawn Treader”. They encounter dragons, merfolk, dwarves, and a band of lost warriors along the way before reaching the edge of the world.

With all this action-packed adventures plus a fantasy treat, this is surely another great Walt Disney Pictures’ creation to watch out for!

Come close Johnny Depp fans! Here comes another upcoming blockbuster movie that will once again seek for the versatility of JD as an actor!

When I was a kid, I had been an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ aficionado. I even remember playing an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ board game with my playmates. Well, now I guess, here’s my chance to see it happen in a movie.

Alice in Wonderland is a movie based on the Lewis Carroll classic. Just like in Beowulf, the movie also combines performance-capture imagery with live-action footage. The legendary casts include Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Matt Lucas, Michael Sheen and Helena Bonham Carter. The film is directed by Tim Burton, an American film director famous for his movies like Edward Scissorhands, Batman and Batman Returns, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and other movie industry’s best-seller. We can expect the release date of Alice in Wonderland on the 5th day of March in 2010.

It used to be a 12-part DC Comics series which now turned into a much-awaited movie. As written by Alan Moore that also features art by Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is now in production and soon to be released.

On March 6, 2009, everyone should really watch out for this action packed, thriller and adventure adaptation of the Watchmen! The movie casts include Billy Crudup as Jon Osterman who is also known as Dr. Manhattan; Patrick Wilson as Nite-Owl; Malin Akerman as the Silk Spectre; Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian; Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach and more.

The movie evolves with the vengeance of Rorschach, a masked vigilante who is determined to murder all past and present superheroes due to the assassination of one of his colleagues. He uses his power to bring back together his former teammates for the same mission: to save their lives and watch over humanity. But, who are going to watch over the “Watchmen”? Hang on guys! Because soon, you will know the twist of the story…

It’s the ‘Twilight’ Zone

Every cinema has started to be the ‘Twilight’ zone of this current movie phenomenon. “Twilight” starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has given the fans not only their sweetness and romantic tandem but also the “oomph” of their seven million dollar estimated gross only on its first day.

The Twilight movie is engaged with a contemporary love story and action packed scenes. This is a story between a vampire, Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson, who fell in love with his 90 years long been waiting soul mate - a teenage girl, Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart. The strange thing is that Edward’s family chose to be different among other vampires because they prefer not to drink human blood. But a clan of new vampires including James played by Cam Gigandet, Edi Gathegi as “Laurent” and Rachelle Lefevre as “Victoria”, will ruin their principles and will try to change their way of life.

Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans

For those who avidly followed and watched the first two parts of Underworld, here comes the continuation that every Underworld fan is surely waiting for! For those who love the first two movies, the makers of the film said that you’ll love it more!

Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans will be released on January 23, 2009 in all theaters near you. It is directed by Patrick Tatopoulos who is actually the one who developed the creatures for the first two films. Apple actually released a teaser of this upcoming movie which you can also find online.

Starring Rhona Mitra, Bill Nighy, Kevin Grevioux and Michael Sheen, Underworld 3 traces the origins of the centuries-old blood warfare. Of course, this involves the Death Dealers otherwise known as aristocratic vampires and the Lycans who are their onetime slaves.

Just going back to the Underworld history, during the Dark Ages, there is a young Lycan (named Lucian) that emerges as a powerful leader. Lucian rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor. Viktor is the cruel vampire king who has imprisoned them. Together with Sonja, Lucian’s secret lover, they started the battle against the Death Dealer army. Their aim is to struggle for Lycan freedom.

It is a well known fact that the great Iron Man and Incredible Hulk are parts of the Ultimate Avengers. The Avengers which is a group of famous Marvel superheroes as compared with the other groups like that of the Justice League and X-men, is said to be united in one blockbuster movie?! But the big question is that, will it be possible?

Since a lot of rumors have been heard, it’s about time to give our readers the real score.

Well Zak Penn, the comic book screenwriter of these films, shared some info regarding the possible making of Avengers movie. He recently stated in his interview on MTV that the making of Avengers movie is definitely going to happen. However, he still waits for the sequel of Iron Man and new Hulk movie to be released first before taking the next big step.

Penn also added, “Avengers is definitely going to happen; the idea was always to do a crossover with multiple superheroes. I'm waiting to let 'Iron Man' and 'Hulk' come out because those are two characters that could appear in it. I used to think that movie would be impossible to make but now I feel like it's not."

Therefore, if most of you guys are more than excited to know when these exceptional back to back scenes from Iron Man and Hulk will happen? Let’s just wait and see! I think we should first keep an eye to the Iron Man and Hulk’s sequel before we jump into the more anticipated highlight. But one thing’s for sure, we will surely look forward to these Marvel superheroes - Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Captain America and of course, the back to back appearance of Iron Man and Hulk.

See a Movie: "Role Models"

Everybody wants to be a role model. Well, like these crazy fellas who turned into a mentor, they are about to make us laugh with their upcoming movie. This lethal combination of two hilariously funny actors, Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott, provides another comedy hit that soon will be shown in theaters near you. This is a must-see movie especially for those who want to get away with their stressful lifestyle.

Imagine how these two salesmen, namely Danny and Wheeler, face the charges of trashing their company truck into an energy drink-fueled bender. As expected, they are being arrested wherein they ended up choosing between two options. Whether they’ll go to jail and do hard time as a consequence to what they have done or, pick a mentorship program while spending 150 service hours with the kids. They both agreed to stick with the second choice. After all, mentoring the kids isn’t that bad as compared to the first one.

See how these two extremely funny guys will handle the task of their choice. Especially that one of them needs to guide a kid who’s undergoing the trials of becoming a man while the other needs to assist a fifth-grader by getting rid of his rude character and stopping him from saying foul words.

Bottom line: this movie signifies that even the world’s most stupid person also has the power to raise a child appropriately by finding ways on how to become a real ‘role model’.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Don’t miss 6^th among the seven parts of the most prestigious novels as written by J.K Rowling which turned into a big fantasy hit movie. To be released on July 17 2009, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be shown in several cinemas near you.

This time by acquiring a potions book which happens to belong to a very mysterious half-blood Prince. Harry will find this book helpful and deceitful at the same time. The story will also give you an idea about Harry’s love interest plus the hilarious affection of Ron to his new girlfriend, Lavender that Hermione would be unhappy to hear.

Meanwhile, Harry is very much eager to learn the dark secrets of Voldemort’s past and together with Professor Dumbledore, they are about to use the same tricks to beat this evil wizard Lord.

Quantum of Solace

This 1 hour and 46 minute movie rated as PG-13 will be shown on cinemas this coming Nov 14, 2008. Surely, it will be another blockbuster hit of James Bond as played by Daniel Craig this time.

With his co-stars Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric and many other celebrity icons that add more exhilarating roles in the film, this upcoming action-packed film awaits millions of movie goers who are more than excited to see another blockbuster hit. James Bond’s marvelous acting and of course, his scene with another gorgeous Bond girl adds to the excitement

Just for a quick overview of this movie, James Bond will be taking his next personal mission. As he hunt for those people behind the betrayal and death of Vesper Lynd that will lead him to this cruel businessman Dominic Greene (played by Mathieu Amalric) who unfortunately is a big key to his mission. The Risky Business scene ain’t that hard for a woman because Heidi Klum’s awesome performance on this advertisement truly rocks! This sexy actress supermodel performing with her super hot lingerie outfit goes well with the Old Time Rock and Roll hit by Bob Seger. This advertisement of Klum was actually released first before the similar ad that features the four athletes – Kobe Bryant, Michael Pelps, Alex Rodriguez and Tony Hawk. Undoubtedly, Heidi Klum being a mother of three kids at 35, can surely be identified as a rocking supermodel with the way she looks and performs. Just watch the video and see for yourself!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Autobots, transform!

Yeah, I know you also wanted to hear that line again. Well, good news to all those fans waiting for the next release of these well-known robot figures. Transformers 2 will be released on all conventional theaters and IMAX on June 26, 2009!

I know you guys can’t wait to see this sequel especially that Megatron and his company will surely have their revenge this time. Let’s just wait and see until “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will be shown. The very exceptional man, Michael Bay who is behind the success of Transformers, will still direct the part 2 of this movie. The sequel is still made after DreamWorks Pictures.

Another good thing about this follow-up movie is that we can still expect the return of the original casts like the cute and naughty character of Shia LaBeouf, the very alluring Megan Fox, the very handsome Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and a lot more.

Different comments have been heard and yet, the anticipation for this film is still overflowing. No doubt about it, a lot of movie fanatics are still looking forward to the next scene. Seven Pounds starring Will Smith

“Seven Pounds” is another upcoming movie starring Oscar nominee Will Smith to be shown this Christmas. Here, Will Smith will play as Ben Thomas who is a remorseful IRS agent who sets out to help seven complete strangers. At first, his mission is a bit odd then suddenly he will end up falling in love with a woman who has a heart condition. Check out the trailer below for some spoilers.

I can’t wait to watch this movie. It’s not just that I am a big fan of Will Smith but also because I want to know the difference of this film from the one he has made before, prior to this film. Yes, I was mesmerized with his acting on “The Pursuit of Happyness” especially that his son Jaden Smith is also there. I really love that story that’s why I can’t wait to see another upcoming movie of Will Smith that was created by the same director, Gabriele Muccino. For sure, this will be undoubtedly another award-winning acting for Will Smith.

Scariest Movies Ever

This is certainly a great topic to talk about especially that Halloween is just a few days away. Although I haven’t seen on this MSN list the movies that really freaked me out just like the “Exorcism of Emily Rose” and “Gothika”, I believe these are surely some of the scariest horror movies that give goosebumps to those individuals who watched these films.

According to MSN, a great horror film should make the viewers jump, squirm, sweat and scream for whatever generations they belong. And this top 10 horror movies have done such efforts to do all of these aspects (although I haven’t watched most on the list). See this list of the scariest movies from MSN and also, feel free to post on the top 10 horror films of your own.

10. "Eraserhead" (1977)
David Lynch's cult classic is the closest thing to being stuck in a nightmare: Not much makes sense, but you get the feeling that nothing is quite right. Lynch employs dinners that walk off the plate, eerie silences that become deafening and an infant that makes Rosemary's baby seem cute and cuddly. So chilling it's damn near unwatchable.

9. "The Exorcist" (1973)
The real terror of "The Exorcist" may not involve Satan and possession, but the helplessness of a parent trying to save a child. Of course, a ton of harrowing special effects and director William Friedkin's somber respect for the supernatural subject matter doesn't hurt either. It's horror for grown-ups.

8. "Halloween" (1978)
John Carpenter's film is blamed for the rash of slasher films that destroyed the genre in the '80s, but "Halloween" possesses a style and intensity that most of its copycats lack. From the opening sequence -- when we see through the eyes of little boy Michael Myers as he stalks and murders his sister -- onward, the film relies on suspense rather than sensationalism. Our fear is caused by what might happen rather than actual events, as Carpenter spends a good amount of time in darkness, making us see things that may or may not be there.

7. "Don't Look Now" (1973)
Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie head to Venice to forget the tragic accidental death of their child. However, it's impossible to forget when the dead child keeps reappearing. Nicolas Roeg's labyrinthine film is rich in dreamlike atmosphere and works on a purely psychological level: It disorients, frustrates and builds to a horrible climax, reminding that tragedy can never be forgotten ... and neither can this film.

6. "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974)
A group of annoying teens make a wrong turn on a road trip through Texas and encounter the most dysfunctional family imaginable. It's a teen exploitation flick shot like a documentary. Wonderfully grim, mean and inhumane, director Tobe Hooper's debut doesn't spill much blood, instead opting to giddily, relentlessly torture and chase its audience (much like Leatherface treats his victims) for 80 minutes. It feels like days.

5. "Nightmare on Elm Street" (1984)
Before dream-killer Freddy Krueger became a quipping pop-culture reference, he represented the most twisted monster unleashed on the public since Halloween's Michael Myers. Seeking vengeance by slicing and dicing the children of the parents who murdered him, Freddy scared the hell out of Cineplex audiences. His on-screen entrance remains terrifying, as does much of director Wes Craven's surreal, smart and shocking masterpiece.

4. "Suspiria" (1977)
"Suspiria" is a full-on sensory assault by Italian horror master Dario Argento, the cinematic equivalent of an anxiety attack. A poor American ballet student arrives in Europe and Argento berates her with weather, grisly murders, a possible coven of witches, his virtuosic camera, and possible the freakiest score ever conceived (by the director himself). The plot barely makes sense, so just let it terrorize you.

3. "Night of the Living Dead" (1968)
A group of kids get trapped inside a farm house by an endless stream of flesh-eating zombies. Sounds silly, but director George Romero takes his simple premise and redefines the genre with a shoestring budget. The amount of sadistic gore, the claustrophobic tension, the rising levels of hysteria and an increasingly deflated awareness that a happy ending is impossible make this a nasty classic. There is no hope here, only suffocating terror.

2. Repulsion (1965)
Director Roman Polanski did more horror afterward, with "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Tenant," but this -- a menacing, nightmarish profile of one woman's descent into madness -- may be his most realized effort. Catherine Denueve embodies sexual repression as a young woman left alone in her apartment -- and to her deluded fantasies -- for the weekend. The film is nearly silent, creating a mounting mood of dread. Try watching it alone with the lights off and see how long you last.

I was really filled with laughter after watching this video that I’ve seen from YouTube. This is really cool and awesome. Everyone should see this!

By the way, this is a new ad featuring Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez, Michael Phelps and Tony Hawk. These athletic guys are totally hilarious while rockin' out in a Tom Cruise style.

In case you’re not familiar with this stuff, the athletes actually reenact the Tom Cruise’s classic Risky Business dance scene. The scene where they parade around a button-down shirt and white socks, that’s the exact scene they portray. This cool commercial is for the Guitar Hero World Tour edition.

The Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa will be released on November 7th, 2008. If you watched the The Madagascar before and like it I am sure that you will going to love this sequel once its made available on your favorite movie theaters.

It has also been undecided yet whether or not Spider-Man 4 and 5 will be shot back-to-back similarly with the movie “Lord of The Rings”. But Raimi emphasizes that surely, the next two movies of Spider-Man will be connected. It’s just that he was being a little apprehensive to shoot two blockbuster movies loaded with special-effects at the same time, after admitting that Spider-Man 3 was a bit exhausting.

Whichever of these plans will happen, I’m just glad to know there’s another best-selling movie that will soon hit the industry!

Johnny Depp to be the Next Joker?

A lot of rumors have been heard that this versatile actor, Johnny Depp, is about to do another eccentric role. Gossips were running around telling JD will be playing as the new Joker in the sequel for the Dark Night.

This famous Batman series is now the talk of the town considering that the joker didn't die in the last Batman movie. This leaves one big question especially that the brilliant acting of the late Heath Ledger will no longer be continued and needs to find an alternative that will match his talent.

The big question is – “Who will play as Joker to the next Batman movie?”. And a lot of people are guessing that Johnny Depp would be the next. Maybe this is due to the fact that Depp can adapt any kind of role and can certainly deliver an audience. His superb acting and the great facial expressions can probably portray the role, so effectively.

But some dudes wouldn’t want to see him acting like one. They believe that his deep acting capabilities won’t fit the character. For such a sadistic and twisted actor as him, they don’t see Johnny as the Joker at all. Some even say James Franco when in long hair looks a lot similar to Heath, so why not him?
